Puerto Rico Trip!

A few weeks ago I went to Puerto Rico for 8 days with my family. It was so much fun and even though we didn't get the best waves we still loved being in the warm water. The first picture is me and my Dad at Jobos and some scenery and then the view from where we stayed and finally a couple surfing shots. I should be posting a short video soon too!

Surf Expo

A few weekends ago Shane, Darsha, and Myself all went to the Surf Expo. I guess you could call this a OLF trip? Well one of the main reasons on why we went was so that Shane and Darsha could be announced as part of 2012 Allstars, Congrats! Every day at the expo we would go hangout with the Rhythm guys, Shane's main sponsor, They are some of the coolest people I have ever met!  In the second picture at the bottom is Downtown Orlando and yes we saw this everyday. Lastly I would like to thank Ben and Zan for letting us stay at your House and being so cool.

Surf expo preview

Yea.. we know we've been blowing it but it's been flat here for three weeks straight until the last couple days, give us a break. Look for alot of posts to be coming soon, Darshas in Puerto Rico right now and we all went to the Surf Expo in Florida last weekend. I emailed Tyler a bunch of photos when we got back last week and he's lagging so I figured i'd put up a little something in case you're bored. This is a photo I took off my phone of Mr. Pipeline, Gerry Lopez, he gave us some words of wisdom on the infamous break and I even got to shake his hand. My life is complete.

Only Larrys Float Surfing

Our second edit is finally done! We've gotten a little better at the whole editing thing and got some fun waves so I think this one is big improvement from the first. The clips are from a few sessions around Carolina Beach and the Outer Banks. The last clip is of Tyler playing Kinect on xbox and getting really into it.. pretty classic. Look for a NEFF giveaway in the next couple weeks as well! Enjoy the edit.

Jupiter Pro

Last weekend, Shane and I got to go down to Florida for the Western Atlantic Pro Surf Series' Jupiter Classic Pro and met some interesting characters^. I was really excited about it because this is the first year that the WAPSS will be keeping track of points and rankings for the women and this was the first event. The surf stayed pretty big and messy the entire time but we got to leave our wetsuits at home so it was nice and warm. Shane surfed really well and made the quarters in the the Men's Pro before getting comboed by Asher Nolan. On the first day I got the highest scoring waves and heat total and made it to the semi-finals but blew the whole semi and caught my best wave after it was over. It was a fun trip though and I want to thank my dad for driving and for hanging out with us the whole time. And keep checking back to see our new edit coming out very soon!!
